Future 100 Companies · 2023Announcement by UAQ Free Trade Zone

Udenz was selected for the UAE Ministry of Economy's Future 100 Companies 2023. The award is the client's — I built six Udenz projects as a developer at Sourcecube Technologies Pvt Ltd, the development partner.

What I do

Backend first, with enough frontend and infrastructure to take a project from schema to server — and, since 2023, to lead the developers who ship it. The full account, including why my employed work and my independent work are kept separate, is in the journey below.

  • Expertise in Laravel, CodeIgniter, RESTful APIs, and database management
  • Strong knowledge of frontend technologies (Bootstrap, JavaScript, Blade templates)
  • Experienced in VPS server deployment and security best practices
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery
  • Optimized application performance, reducing load times and improving efficiency
  • Successfully managed multiple projects, coordinating with developers and stakeholders

The short version

Four turning points.

  1. The foundation

    It started with PHP

A PHP-based final-year college project that I developed as a paid project for a BCA student. I handled the project end-to-end, from development and database implementation to final delivery. This was my first complete project built from scratch and gave me the foundation for the work that followed.

  2. June 2022

    Learning in production

Junior Developer at Sourcecube Technologies. I built and maintained web applications alongside senior developers, and spent most of my time where the real lessons are — debugging, and making slow things fast.

  3. June 2023

    Taking the lead

Senior Developer & Project Manager at Orpol Infotech, joining a three-person core team. Still writing Laravel, but now also planning it: architecture, client requirements, and delivery dates that had to hold.

  4. Today

    Systems, not screens

Senior Web Developer at Varshaa Weblabs — Laravel and Vue 3, property data, Elasticsearch and Redis, and a role that has grown into AI and LLM work. Alongside it, an independent Shopify and e-commerce practice I keep deliberately separate.

How I work

I don’t just write code.
I think about systems.

  1. 01

    Architecture

Structure before code. MVC boundaries, Eloquent relationships and middleware decided up front, so the codebase still makes sense a year later.

  2. 02

    Engineering

The parts that carry load. RESTful APIs, token authentication, and work pushed onto queues instead of the request cycle.

  3. 03

    Performance

Where most of the wins live. Schema design, indexing and query optimization first, caching second — measured, not guessed.

  4. 04

    Delivery

A feature that ships late is a feature that did not ship. Planning, execution and dates that hold.

  5. 05

    Team

Multiple projects at once means the bottleneck is rarely the code. Leading developers, and keeping clients and stakeholders in the same conversation.

The next chapter

What's next

The next system, the next team, the next deadline that has to hold. If you are building something that needs to scale and stay maintainable, that is the work I want.
