From one PHP projectto two branches.

It started with PHP

My journey started with a PHP-based final-year college project that I developed as a paid project for a BCA student.

I handled the project end-to-end — from development and database implementation to testing and final delivery.

It was my first complete project built from scratch and gave me my first real understanding of what it means to take an idea and turn it into a working application.

That project became the foundation for everything that followed.

Learning in production

Junior Developer — Sourcecube Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

I joined Sourcecube Technologies as a Junior Developer and entered my first professional production environment.

I worked across both backend and frontend development, learned to work with existing codebases, understand unfamiliar systems, debug production issues, work with APIs and databases, and improve application performance.

A lot of my growth during this period came from solving real problems rather than simply writing new features. I also became comfortable with professional tooling and workflows — Git, cPanel, ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot.

Building independently

Four months of freelancing

Before joining Orpol Infotech full-time, I spent around four months working independently as a freelancer.

This was an important stage because I was no longer working only as a developer inside a team. I had to take responsibility for projects myself.

The Kanaiya Dairyfarm & Sweets project was given to me by the CEO of Orpol Infotech as a freelance project. The way I handled it, combined with my development and problem-solving approach, led to an opportunity to join Orpol Infotech full-time.

When I joined, the core team was very small — the CEO, one UI/UX designer and myself. Together we started building the foundation for a more structured and fully functioning software development company.

My role was no longer limited to development.

Across these projects my frontend experience expanded significantly, while my backend work continued to focus heavily on PHP, Laravel, MySQL and REST APIs.

FCRM / FCRM Pro

One of the most important projects I worked on at Orpol Infotech was FCRM / FCRM Pro — a large Laravel-based CRM and financial platform involving multiple external integrations.

I worked night shifts with a senior developer on this project while collaborating with a client outside India.

Another major chapter at Orpol Infotech was Cloud Business / CloudWorks — projects for Samuel Krampah in Ghana.

I worked across both project management and development, handling technical implementation while also understanding client requirements and project delivery.

More than a job

After completing more than a year at Orpol Infotech, I decided it was time to move forward. Leaving was not simply leaving a company.

I had been part of building the company’s technical foundation from a very small core team. I had grown from being primarily a developer into someone who could handle development, architecture, project management, clients and delivery.

I left with a strong professional foundation and the experience of helping build something from the ground up.

Building a team, not just projects

After leaving Orpol Infotech, I spent another period working independently. This time my responsibilities were broader — I was not only developing projects, I was building a small development team and managing projects and clients.

The team was an app developer, a frontend developer, and myself handling backend, APIs, administration systems, web development and project management.

Varshaa Weblabs

Senior Web Developer → AI & LLM development

In April 2025 I joined Varshaa Weblabs as a Senior Web Developer. This is my primary professional employment branch.

My work here is focused on the company’s own projects, client requirements and technical responsibilities within the company. I work on large, long-term software systems.

My responsibilities include backend development, frontend development, API integrations, database systems, search infrastructure, performance, security and AI-powered functionality.

Real-estate software platform

One of the major projects I worked on at Varshaa Weblabs was PricerPro, a modular Laravel-based real-estate platform.

Another major long-term project at Varshaa Weblabs was EstateBlock, involving real-estate data, external APIs, search infrastructure, performance and security.

I also worked on the DJSumit project at Varshaa Weblabs — backend development and administration panel alongside the frontend, which let me keep working across the complete application stack.

From using AI to building AI

During my time at Varshaa Weblabs my role expanded beyond traditional web development into AI and LLM development, and I began developing custom AI functionality for real client requirements.

One of my key achievements was building a custom AI application capable of creating a complete video from images and audio.

This became an important new direction in my professional development.

Shopify & e-commerce

Independent work

While working at Varshaa Weblabs, I noticed that the company’s main technology and business focus did not include Shopify or the e-commerce industry.

I already had e-commerce experience from earlier projects such as Radhaki.in, Fillbin.com and Kanaiya Dairyfarm & Sweets, but I wanted to develop deeper expertise in the modern Shopify ecosystem.

Instead of waiting for Shopify projects to appear in my professional environment, I decided to build that experience independently, in my own time.

Entering Shopify

Lekore.in is an independent Shopify e-commerce project focused on Korean beauty and baby products.

It helped me move from traditional PHP / Laravel e-commerce development into the Shopify ecosystem — themes, Liquid, storefront development, product presentation and e-commerce workflows.

Combining design, e-commerce and technology

Divija Jewels is a premium jewellery e-commerce project — gold, diamond, silver and platinum — started from Figma designs and built into a polished, modern storefront.

A deliberate second direction

Choosing Shopify was not accidental. I chose it because Shopify and e-commerce were not part of Varshaa Weblabs’ main technology and business focus.

Rather than staying limited to the technologies I was already using professionally, I wanted to build expertise in another area that matched my existing experience in frontend development, e-commerce, UI implementation, Figma, JavaScript and product interfaces.

Building Shopify projects independently lets me develop that expertise without mixing it with my professional responsibilities.

If Shopify and e-commerce grow into a strong professional opportunity, I will already have the practical experience to take that direction further. For now, both branches continue independently.

Two branches. One developer.

My career started with a single PHP project. Since then I have worked across websites, SaaS platforms, e-commerce systems, CRMs, ERPs, APIs, mobile applications, real-estate platforms, search infrastructure, cloud systems and AI-powered applications.

Developer → Senior Developer → Project Manager → Freelancer → Team Lead → AI Developer.

The two branches are intentionally separate. One does not represent the other. Both are helping me grow, but they remain separate projects, separate responsibilities and separate professional paths.

Understand the problem. Design the solution. Build the system. Make it work in production. Then keep improving it.
